We pride ourselves in creating Handbooks with a “shelf life”.
But the one thing that seems to be constant is change.
Some Handbook content can be successfully generalized, but some policy content is affected by federal or state law changes and/or a shift in what is considered a best practice.
It is one thing to create a Handbook. It is quite another to make sure it is being maintained – both on the labor law and best practices front.
For a Handbook to be useful, it does need to be current.
