Darian began her HR career in talent acquisition before moving into people leadership, where training and developing employees helped shape her confidence as a communicator and her love of helping others grow. After the birth of her son, she began writing resumes for others and saw firsthand how overwhelming even seemingly simple career and workplace processes can feel. That experience strengthened a philosophy she still brings to her work today: good HR does not have to be complicated to be effective. She later returned to HR full-time and grew into an HR leadership role, where she helped build the HR function from the ground up and gained hands-on experience across nearly every area of HR.
Darian’s career has centered around helping leaders navigate workplace challenges and strengthen the way their organizations operate. She brings additional experience supporting multi-state organizations across a variety of industries, work environments, and employee populations to the Inspiring HR team.
Darian is especially drawn to work involving employee engagement, performance, talent, and workplace culture. Darian enjoys partnering with leaders to look beneath the surface, ask thoughtful questions, and find solutions that balance employee needs with business goals.
Outside of work, Darian enjoys the simple things: spending time with her husband and young son, getting lost in a good book, tending to her garden, fitting in a Pilates class, or getting outside for a walk when her schedule, or her son, allows it.
